Fabrick supported This Land in hosting a community event to showcase its reserved matters planning application for Eddeva Park, a high-quality residential development on the south-east fringes of Cambridge.

Cambridge City Council has already granted outline planning permission for the building of 230 homes at the site, which sits in a sustainable location between Worts’ Causeway and the Babraham Road.

The community event, which took place at Queen Edith Chapel, Wulfstan Way, Cambridge was an opportunity for members of the public to view plans for the first development phase of the Eddeva Park development. This first phase is a proposal for 80 beautifully designed family homes, 40% of which will be affordable housing to meet local demand and needs.

Fabrick created a series of information boards covering the masterplan as well as specific aspects such as architecture, environment, landscaping, ecology and biodiversity and transport and access. As part of the project, Fabrick liaised with the Parish Council and managed community outreach to inform the local community of the event and encourage attendance.
